Our History
Founded by Lee Brown, the Atlas Insurance Agency has been family owned and operated since 1953, with three generations of Browns currently participating in the agency. Their commitment to Sarasota and the surrounding communities is the driving force behind the Agency's business philosophy.

As independent agents, we at the Atlas Insurance Agency are able to provide the best available coverage by selecting from a variety of insurance companies. This flexibility enables us to better serve you, our valued client.
We represent many fine companies, including the Cincinnati Insurance Company.

Robert P. holds the designation of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter from the Society of CPCU.
Robert W. Brown
Robert W. holds the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor. This certification is renewed annually by the Society of CIC.
Darren B. Howard
Darren holds the designation of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter from the Society and CPCU. He also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Risk Management and Insurance.
